Abstract：Objective：To observe the therapeutic effect of Yunpi Zhixie tang on treating children with chronic diarrhea of spleen-stomach weakness type. Methods：A total of 102 children with chronic diarrhea of spleen-stomach weakness type were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group by coin throwing method，51 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine based on basic treatment，and the observation group was treated with Yunpi Zhixie tang based on the treatment of the control group. The changes in the scores of Chinese medicine syndrome，immune indexes such as T helper cell 17(Th17) and regulatory cells(Treg)，laboratory indexes(urinary D-xyloose excreted rate， salivary amylase， blood zinc value)， as well as intestinal flora(Enterococcus， Enterobacterium， Lactobacillus，Bifidobacterium) were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. The clinical effect in the two groups was compared. Results： The total effective rate was 94.12% in the observation group， higher than that of 80.39% in the control group(P＜0.05). Compared with the same group before treatment， the scores of Chinese medicine syndrome，the level of serum Treg，the number of enterococcus and enterobacteria were decreased in the two groups after treatment(P＜0.05). The levels of immunoglobulin A(IgA)， immunoglobulin G(IgG)， immunoglobulin M(IgM)， Th17， urine D-xylose excretion rate，saliva amylase，blood zinc value and the number of lactobacillus and bifidobacterium in serum were all increased(P＜0.05). Compared with those in the control group after treatment， the scores of various Chinese medicine syndromes， the level of serum Treg， and the number of enterococcus and enterobacteria were lower in the observation group(P＜0.05). The levels of serum IgA， IgG， IgM， Th17， urine D- xylose excretion rate， saliva amylase， blood zinc value，and the number of lactobacillus and bifidobacterium were all higher(P＜0.05). Conclusion：Based on the conventional treatment of western medicine， the application of Yunpi Zhixie tang in the treatment of children with chronic diarrhea of spleen-stomach weakness type，can improve the clinical symptoms and clinical effect，and is beneficial to the improvement of urine D-xylose excretion rate，saliva amylase，blood zinc level and immune function，and also has important significance for the regulation of the number of bacteria.
