Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of ethinyl estradiol cyproterone tablets combined with Bushen Huoxue Huayu tang for polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS) of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type. Methods：A total of 86 cases of PCOS patients of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method. The control group， with 80 cases， was treated with ethinyl estradiol cyproterone tablets，and the observation group was treated with Bushen Huoxue Huayu tang combined with ethinyl estradiol cyproterone tablets. Both groups were treated for six months. The clinical effect in the two groups was compared. Before and after treatment， the changes in endometrial thickness， ovarian volume， number of antral follicle and sex hormone levels including follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)， luteinizing hormone(LH)， estrogen(E2) and testosterone(T) in serum in the two groups were observed.After treatment，the patients were followed up for one year to observe the pregnancy situation in the two groups. Results： After treatment， the total effective rate was 83.72% in the observation group and 63.75% in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment，the endometrial thickness in the two groups was increased when compared with that before treatment，and the ovarian volume and number of antral follicle were decreased； the endometrial thickness and ovarian volume in the observation group were larger than those in the control group，and the number of antral follicle was fewer，differences being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment，the levels of FSH and T in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)， and the levels of LH and E2 were increased(P＜0.05)；the levels of FSH and T in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05)， and the levels of LH and E2 were higher(P＜0.05). During treatment， there was no obvious adverse reaction in the two groups， there being no significance in the difference(P＞0.05). The one- year follow- up after treatment showed that the recovery rate of menstrual cycle，ovulation rate and pregnancy rate in the observation group were higher than those in the control group， differences being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion： Ethinyl estradiol cyproterone tablets combined with Bushen Huoxue Huayu tang for PCOS of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type can improve curative effect，sex hormone levels and pregnancy situation，and regulate ovarian function with higher medication safety.
