Abstract：Objective：To observe the effect of Bushen Tongluo tang combined with electrical acupoint stimulation with low- frequency impulse on deglutition function and surface electromyography of patients with post- stroke dysphagia. Methods：A total of 80 cases of patients with post-stroke dysphagia were selected and divided into the experiment group and the control group，40 cases in each group. The control group was given electrical acupoint stimulation with low- frequency impulse，and the experiment group was given Bushen Tongluo tang combined with electrical acupoint stimulation with lowfrequency impulse. The clinical effect was observed in the two groups after treatment. The deglutition function， surface electromyography，and hyolaryngeal range of motion were compared before and after treatment. Results：After treatment， the total effective rate was 90.00% in the experiment group，higher than that of 70.00% in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment， the scores of swallowing angiography in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment， and the scores of water swallow test were decreased； the score of swallowing angiography in the experiment group was higher than that in the control group， and the score of water swallow test was lower；differences were significant(P＜0.05). After treatment，the maximum wave amplitudes of sEMG in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment，and swallowing duration was decreased；the maximum wave amplitude of sEMG in the experiment group was higher than that in the control group，and swallowing duration was shorter； differences were significant(P＜0.05). After treatment，the distances of advancement and elevation of hyoid bone and thyroid cartilage in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and increased distance in the experiment group was longer than that in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion：The therapy of Bushen Tongluo tang combined with electrical acupoint stimulation with low-frequency impulse has a good curative effect in the treatment of poststroke dysphagia， which can improve clinical symptoms， enhance deglutition function and hyolaryngeal range of motion， and promote muscle movements of the tongue.
