Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of foot bath combined with auricular acupoint pressing with beans for women after caesarean section. Methods:A total of 140 cases of puerpera who underwent caesarean section were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method,70 cases in each group. The control group was intervened with routine nursing,and the observation group was additionally treated with foot bath combined with auricular acupoint pressing with beans based on the intervention of the control group. After three- day treatment,the recovery of bowel sound,the first anal exhaust,off-bed activity,symptom scores of constipation,as well as the occurrence of abdominal distention, abdominal pain, and abnormal bowel sound were analyzed and compared between the two groups. Results: After treatment, when compared with those in the control group, in the observation group, the recovery time of bowel sound, the first anal exhaust, and the time of off- bed activity were earlier, the difference being significant(P<0.05). The frequency of defecation, degree of difficulty, and stool characteristics score of observation group were lower than those in the control group,the difference being significant(P<0.05). The abnormal rate of gastrointestinal function was 2.86% in the observation group, and 11.43% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: The therapy of foot bath combined with auricular acupoint pressing with beans has a significant curative effect on puerpera after caesarean section,which conduces to promoting the recovery of gastrointestinal function,shortening the exhaust time,and alleviating constipation symptom,with good safety.
