Abstract: Objective: To explore the influence of content setting and teaching method selection of Chinese medicine acupuncture course on teaching effect and teacher development under blended learning mode,so as to provide data support for the improvement of Chinese medicine teaching practice in English and the improvement of the learning effect of international students in China for the Medicine Bachelor and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS). Method:Action research method was adopted to find out the problems through the questionnaire survey of international students in 2018. The teaching method of Chinese medicine acupuncture course in 2019 was redesigned and implemented, and the changes of students' participation and satisfaction before and after the teaching were compared. Teachers reflected on their teaching through thematic analysis of teaching logs and interviews. Results: MBBS significantly improved the practicability, interest and satisfaction of Chinese medicine acupuncture course,the difference being significant(P<0.05). Meanwhile the teachers had a deeper understanding of teaching practice and beliefs,and used to guide further their teaching actions. Conclusion:The mixed learning mode(flipped classroom plus case discussion plus increased internship) has a good effect on MBBS with great cultural load and lack of Chinese medicine foundation, and it has significant reference for improving learning participation, promoting knowledge internalization and improving teaching.
