Abstract: Objective: To investigate the administration rule of Chinese herbal compound in the treatment of hyperandrogenemia in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS). Methods: The academic papers published from the database establishment day to September 19, 2019 were searched from China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI), Wanfang Medical Network Database and VIP Journal Database. After selecting relevant literatures and sorting out the Chinese herbal compound adopted in them,a database was established to statistically analyze the categories,natures,flavors and meridians of Chinese herbs in the Chinese herbal compound. What's more,factor analysis and association rule analysis were used to further explore the administration rule by analyzing the Chinese herbs whose frequency was five or more than five. Results:A total of 46 literatures,46 prescriptions,99 Chinese herbs and 14 kinds of medicine were included. The top three categories of Chinese herbs in frequency of use were,in turn,herbs for supplementing deficiency,herbs for clearing heat and herbs for invigorating blood and dissolving stasis. The main natures of the herbs were warm,followed by cold. The main flavors were sweet, spicy and bitter. The main meridians were liver meridian, followed by kidney meridian and spleen meridian. A total of 10 common factors were extracted from 31 Chinese herbs with a frequency of five or more than five,and 19 pairs of highly correlated combinations were obtained. Conclusion: In the treatment of hyperandrogenemia in PCOS patients,the combination of herbs for supplementing deficiency and herbs for clearing heat is usually used.
