Abstract： Objective： To observe the effect of external application of Kangfuxin liquid and radiofrequency electrotherapeutic apparatus based on routine medical and nursing measures of modern medicine on wound healing after surgery for anal fistula. Methods：A total of 108 cases of patients after incision of low simple anal fistula were divided to two groups according to the random number table method，54 cases in each group. Both groups were given routine symptomatic treatments such as anti- infection， fluid replacement， hemostasis， and analgesia， as well as comprehensive nursing measures including local dressing change， diet nursing， and mental nursing. The observation group was additionally given external application of Kangfuxin liquid and radiofrequency electrotherapeutic apparatus for irradiation. Both groups were treated for seven days. The postoperative recovery of wound including pain degree of wound，wound secretion，edema at the margin of wound，and granulation growth were evaluated. The healing rate of wound was calculated. The healing time of wound was recorded. The nursing satisfaction was evaluated when discharge. Results： When compared with that on the 1st day after surgery， the scores of pain degree of wound on the 3rd and 7th day after surgery were decreased in the two groups(P＜0.01). The scores of pain degree of wound on the 3rd and 7th day after surgery in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.01). On the 7th day after surgery，scores of wound secretion，edema at the margin of wound，and granulation growth in the two groups were decreased when compared with those on the 1st day after surgery(P＜ 0.01)，and the three scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.01). The healing rate of wound in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.01)，and the healing time of wound was earlier(P＜0.01). Nursing satisfaction in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion： After surgery for anal fistula， the therapy of external application of Kangfuxin liquid and radiofrequency electrotherapeutic apparatus on a basis of routine medical and nursing measures of modern medicine can effectively promote recovery of wound，relieve pain degree of wound，shorten course of the disease，and improve patients’ nursing satisfaction.
