Abstract： Objective： To observe the effect of Shengxuebao mixture as adjuvant treatment on toxic side effects and immune function of patients with hematological tumor after chemotherapy. Methods： A total of 96 cases of patients with hematological tumor were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method， 48 cases in each group. The control group was given routine chemotherapy， and the observation group was additionally given Shengxuebao mixture based on the treatment of the control group. The chemotherapy lasted for three courses in both groups. Before and after treatment， levels of blood indexes(leukocytes， hemoglobin， platelets) and immunological indexes(CD3 +，CD4 +，CD4 +/CD8 + )，the classification of toxic side effects on blood system，as well as the incidence of common adverse reactions were observed and compared between the two groups. Results：Before treatment， when compared levels of leukocytes， hemoglobin， platelets， CD3 + ， CD4 + ， and CD4 +/CD8 + between the two groups ， there was no significance in the difference(P＞0.05). After treatment，levels of leukocytes，hemoglobin，platelets，CD3+， CD4+，and CD4+/CD8+ in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，but the six levels above in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，the classification of toxic side effects on leukocytes，hemoglobin，and platelets in the observation group was better than that in the control group，and the abnormal incidence of myelosuppression，gastrointestinal tract reaction，skin response，local stimulation， the liver function and the kidney function was lower than that in the control group， differences being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion：Shengxuebao mixture in adjuvant therapy of patients with hematological tumor can relieve toxic side effects of chemotherapy，protect blood system，and improve injury of immune function，with fewer adverse reactions.
