Abstract：This paper introduces the origin and significance of Chinese medicine nursing outpatient，and summarizes the registration mode， nurse qualification， service group， service content and evaluation index status of Chinese medicine nursing outpatient in China. It is pointed out that the Chinese medicine nursing outpatient in China serves a wide range of people，whose the service content has not been clearly defined，and that the existing problems of Chinese medicine nursing outpatient include the lack of unified management standards and relevant laws and regulations support，limited practice place of nurses and no prescription right. It is suggested that the relevant laws and regulations， management norms and quality evaluation system should be established and improved in the future. Meanwhile，standardized training should be developed to improve the ability level of nurses and strengthen the discussion of nurse prescriptive power，so as to provide reference for further playing the role of Chinese medicine nursing outpatient in disease prevention，health care，rehabilitation guidance.
