Abstract：Objective：To observe the curative effect of individual nursing combined with modified Tianwang Buxin pills for viral myocarditis with vigorous fire due to yin deficiency syndrome. Methods： A total of 60 cases of patients with viral myocarditis were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method， 30 cases in each group. The control group was given routine treatment methods and nursing measures of western medicine， and the observation group was additionally given individual nursing combined with modified Tianwang Buxin pills based on the treatment of the control group. After eight- week treatment， the symptom scores of vigorous fire due to yin deficiency syndrome， the levels of cardiac troponin-I(cTnI) and heart-type fatty acid-binding protein(H-FABP) in serum as well as the clinical effect in the two groups were compared. Results：After treatment， the scores of vigorous fire due to yin deficiency syndrome in the two groups were decreased(P＜0.01)； the symptom score in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P＜0.01). After treatment， the levels of cTnI and H- FABP in serum in the two groups were decreased(P＜0.01)； the above levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.01). The total effective rate in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion： Individual nursing combined with modified Tianwang Buxin pills has significant curative effect in treating viral myocarditis with vigorous fire due to yin deficiency syndrome.
