Analysis on Effect of Hot Medicinal Compress Combined with Auricular Acupoint Pressing with Pills Intervening Uterine Contraction Pain After Cesarean Section
Abstract:Objective:To observe the effect of hot medicinal compress combined with auricular acupoint pressing with pills intervening uterine contraction pain after cesarean section. Methods:A total of 120 cases of puerpera who had uterine contraction pain after cesarean section were selected as the study objects;they were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number tablet method, 60 cases in each group. Both groups were given intravenous self-control analgesia pump, and the observation group was additionaly given hot medicinal compress combined with auricular acupoint pressing with pills. After two- day intervention , clinical effect was evaluated. Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) was used to evaluate the pain degree before intervention,as well as after 8 hours,24 hours, and 48 hours of intervention. The level of the pain factor, namely prostaglandin E2(PGE2),was measured before intervention and after twoday intervention. Nursing satisfaction was evaluated when discharge. Results:After the intervention, the remission rates of uterine contraction pain were 90.00% and 71.67% in the observation group and in the control group respectively, differences being significant(P<0.05). Levels of PGE2 in the two groups were decreased to various degrees when compared with those before intervention, and the level in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05). After 8 hours,24 hours, and 48 hours of intervention,VAS scores in the two groups were decreased to various degrees when compared with those before intervention, and the scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group at all periods, differences being significant(P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction rates were 95.00% and 81.67% in the observation group and the control group respectively, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion:For puerpera with uterine contraction pain after cesarean section, the intervention of hot medicinal compress combined with auricular acupoint pressing with pills can effectively reduce pain degree and level of PGE2, and enhance puerpera's satisfaction with obstetric nurses. It is of great significance to promoting recovery.
