Abstract: Objective: To observe the effect of Dingchuan tang combined with nursing intervention for children with bronchial asthma at acute exacerbation. Methods:A total of 80 cases of children with bronchial asthma at acute exacerbation were randomly divided into two groups,40 cases in each group. The control group was given atomization before intravenous drip, and the observation group was additionally given modified Dingchuan tang on the basis of the treatment of the control group. During treatment, nursing intervention was performed, such as close observation of vital signs, strengthening health education and so on. The disappearance time and onset frequencies of cough, wheezing and lung wheezing sound in the two groups were recorded;the changes in forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1),the ratio of forced expiratory volume in one second to forced vital capacity(FEV1/FVC) and peak expiratory flow(PEF) in the two groups were detected;the curative effect and safety during treatment in the two groups were evaluated. Results:The disappearance time of cough, wheezing and lung wheezing sound in the observation group were shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05). The onset frequencies which were equal to or greater than one time were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). After intervention, FEV1, FEV1/FVC and PEF in the two groups were significantly increased when compared with those before intervention, and the above indexes in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P< 0.05). The total effective rate was 92.5% in the observation group, significantly higher than that of 75.0% in the control group(P<0.05). During treatment, there was no significant severe adverse reactions. Conclusion:Modified Dingchuan tang combined with western medicine for children with bronchial asthma at acute exacerbation has significant effect. At the same time, the implementation of nursing intervention can promote the rehabilitation of children, avoid the occurrence of adverse events, and ensure the safety of children.
