Abstract:Objective:To observe the nursing effect of point application relieving headache in patients with hypertension. Methods: A total of 60 cases of patients with headache in hypertension were divided into the control group and the observation group according to their visit time, 30 cases in each group. The control group was given routine antihypertension treatment, and the observation group was additionally treated with point application based on the treatment of the control group. Before and after intervention, the pain symptom, systolic pressure, sleep quality, quality of life and treatment satisfaction in the two groups were compared. Results: After intervention, the pain scores, the seizure frequency, the duration and the systolic pressure in the two groups were improved when compared with those before intervention, and the above indexes in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). After intervention, the sleep time, the sleep efficiency, the sleep quality and the total scores of Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI) in the two groups were improved when compared with those before intervention, and the above indexes in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). After intervention, the scores of quality of life in the two groups were improved when compared with those before intervention;the quality of life and the scores of health guidance, personnel quality, condition observation and symptom improvement in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion:Point application for headache in patients with hypertension can effectively improve their pain scores, seizure frequency, duration and systolic pressure as well as sleep quality, quality of life and treatment satisfaction.
