Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of acupuncture therapy combined with clomiphene for patients with PCOS infertility. Methods：A total of 68 cases of patients with PCOS infertility were randomly divided into the control group and the treatment group，34 cases in each group. The control group was treated with clomiphene，and the treatment group was additionally treated with acupuncture therapy based on the treatment of the control group. The follicular development and Chinese medicine syndrome scores before and after treatment as well as the clinical effect in the two groups were observed and compared. Results：The total effective rate was 97.06% in the treatment group and 85.29% in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment， the follicular diameters in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the follicular diameter in the treatment group was longer than that in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment， Chinese medicine syndrome scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)， and the score in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion：Acupuncture therapy combined with clomiphene has definite clinical effect in treating patients with PCOS infertility，which can improve their clinical symptoms and promote the follicular development.
