Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Getong Tongluo capsules combined with acupuncture for vertigo due to chronic cerebral circulation insufficiency. Methods:A total of 70 cases of patients with vertigo due to chronic cerebral circulation insufficiency were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method,35 cases in each group. During treatment,there is one case who lost the follow-up in the observation group and two cases in the control group. The control group was treated with flunarizine hydrochloride capsules,and the observation group was treated with Getong Tongluo capsules combined with acupuncture. The cerebral blood flow,the clinical effect and the occurrence of adverse reactions in the two groups were compared. Results:The total effective rate was 91.18% in the observation group, higher than that of 69.70% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Before treatment,there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of cerebral blood flows in left vertebral artery, right vertebral artery and basilar artery between the two groups(P>0.05). After treatment, the cerebral blood flows in left vertebral artery,right vertebral artery and basilar artery in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment,and the above indexes in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,differences being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: Getong Tongluo capsules combined with acupuncture for patients with vertigo due to chronic cerebral circulation insufficiency can improve the cerebral blood flow and the clinical effect.
