Abstract： Objective： To discuss the clinical effect of Yiqi Huoxue method combined with western medicine for acute heart failure and its effect on neurohormone factors. Methods：A total of 70 cases of patients with acute heart failure were selected to conduct a control study，and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method，35 cases in each group. The observation group was given Yiqi Huoxue method combined with western medicine，and the control group was given routine western medicine. The heart function was observed. The clinical effect and its effect on serum neurohormone factors were observed. Results：After treatment，the total effective rate was 97.14% in the observation group，higher than that of 80.00% in the control group(P＜0.05). There was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the heart function before treatment between the two groups(P＞0.05). After treatment，the heart function in the two groups was improved when compared with that before treatment， and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF) and E peak velocity(pEV) in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05)；left ventricular end diastolic diameter(LVEDD) and E/A in the observation group were lower(P＜0.05). When compared plasma renin activity(PRA)，angiotensin Ⅱ(AgⅡ)，endothelin(ET)，and brain natriuretic peptide(BNP) before treatment between the two groups， there was no significance in the difference(P＞0.05). After treatment， neuroendocrine hormones in the two groups were improved when compared with those before treatment， and PRA， Ag Ⅱ， ET， and BNP in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion：In the treatment of patients with acute heart failure， the therapy of Yiqi Huoxue method combined with western medicine can significantly improve the heart function and neurohormone factors，as well as enhance the curative effect.
