Abstract: Objective: To observe the effect of the therapy of Danhong injection combined with western medicine on patients with angina pectoris due to coronary heart disease and its effect on heart function. Methods:A total of 68 patients with angina pectoris due to coronary heart disease were included in the prospective study and randomly divided into the study group and the control group. Both groups were treated with conventional western medicine, and the study group was additionally treated with Danhong injection. After treatment, the therapeutic effect was analyzed, and heart function indexes, including left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),stroke volume(SV),cardiac output(CO) and cardiac index(CI) were recorded. Results:The average score of Chinese medicine syndromes in the study group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05), and the grading of therapeutic effect in the study group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.05). The total effective rate was 94.12% in the study group, higher than that of 85.29% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of LVEF,SV,CO and CI were increased in the two groups when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and the above levels in the study group were increased more significantly than those in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion:The therapy of Danhong injection combined with western medicine has a great therapeutic effect on the treatment of angina pectoris due to coronary heart disease, which can effectively improve heart function indexes, with significant clinical effect.
