Abstract: Objective: To observe the effect of Chinese medicine emotional nursing combined with comfort nursing on bad mood and quality of life in ICU patients with anxiety disorder. Methods:A total of 98 ICU patients with anxiety disorder were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, 49 cases in each group. Both groups were intervened with basic nursing after admission,and the observation group was additionally intervened with Chinese medicine emotional nursing and comfort nursing. The bad psychological mood and quality of life in the two groups after nursing were observed. Results: After intervention, the scores of depression and anxiety in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before intervention(P<0.05),and the two scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). After intervention, the scores of physical function, physical function, mental health, social function,physical pain,emotional function,vitality and general health in both groups were increased when compared with those before intervention(P<0.05),and the above scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion:The combined intervention of Chinese emotional nursing and comfort nursing can significantly relieve anxiety and depression and significantly improve the quality of life for ICU patients with anxiety.
