Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of Qiming granules combined with sodium hyaluronate on diabetic dry eye. Methods：A total of 200 patients with diabetic dry eye were randomly divided into the control group and the treatment group，100 cases in each group. The control group was treated with sodium hyaluronate eye drops，and the treatment group was additionally treated with Qiming granules based on the treatment of the control group. After eight weeks of treatment，the clinical effect in the two groups was observed，and levels of the tear break-up time(BUT) and Schirmer I Test(SIT) before and after treatment were compared and analyzed. Results： The total effective rate was 94.00% in the treatment group and 86.00% in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Before treatment，there was no significant difference in the comparison of the levels of BUT and SIT between the two groups(P＞0.05). After treatment，the levels of BUT and SIT in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the levels of BUT and SIT in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Qiming granules combined with sodium hyaluronate has a definite clinical effect on the treatment of diabetic dry eye，which can effectively prolong the BUT and improve the level of SIT.
