Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Wenxin granules combined with amiodarone on atrial fibrillation(AF). Methods：A total of 72 AF patients were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the study group according to the order of admission number， 36 patients in each group. The control group was treated with amiodarone，and the study group was additionally treated with Wenxin granules based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for two months. The clinical effect and indexes of left atrial remodeling were compared between the two groups. Results： After treatment，the total effective rate was 91.67% in the study group，higher than that of 75.00% in the control group(P＜ 0.05).After treatment，peak velocity blood flow from left ventricular relaxation in early diastole(E)，peak velocity flow in late diastole caused by atrial contraction(A)，and the E/A ratio were increased in both groups when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)；the levels of E，A and E/A ratio in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05). The diameter of the left atrium in both groups was respectively smaller than that before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the one in the study group was smaller than that in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion：The therapy of Wenxin granules combined with amiodarone for patients with AF can improve the indexes of left atrial remodeling and the clinical effect.
