Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Chinese medicine nursing for enteral nutrition support in critically ill patients. Methods:A total of 89 cases of critically ill patients were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, 44 and 45 cases in each group respectively. The control group was given enteral nutrition combined with routine nursing intervention, and the observation group was additionally intervened with Chinese medicine nursing based on the treatment of the control group. Before and after nursing, nutrition indexes, levels of humoral and cellular immune factors, health status, enteral nutrition tolerance and nursing satisfaction in the two groups were compared. Results:After nursing, the nutrition indexes in the two groups were improved when compared with those before nursing;the indexes of hemoglobin(Hb),albumin(Alb),serum total protein(TP) and total lymphocyte count(TLC) in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). After nursing, the immune indexes in the two groups were improved when compared with those before nursing; the levels of immunoglobulin G(IgG), immunoglobulin A(IgA), CD3 + and CD4 +/CD8 + in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). After nursing, Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation(APACHE II) scores and enteral nutrition tolerance were improved when compared with those before nursing; APACHE II score, enteral nutrition tolerance and nursing satisfaction in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: Chinese medicine nursing can effectively enhance the effect of enteral nutrition, nutrition indexes, enteral nutrition tolerance and nursing satisfaction, as well as improve the levels of humoral and cellular immune factors and health status.
