Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of modified Huanglian Jiedu tang combined with western medicine for gastric ulcer infected by helicobacter pylori and its effect on serum inflammatory factors. Methods:A total of 114 cases of patients with gastric ulcer infected by helicobacter were divided into two groups according to the random number table method, 57 cases in each group. The control group was treated with metronidazole, amoxicillin capsules and cimetidine tablets, and the observation group was additionally treated with modified Huanglian Jiedu tang based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for four weeks. The changes in the levels of interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-17(IL-17) and interferon-γ(IFN-γ) in serum before and after treatment, the clinical effect and adverse reactions in the two groups were observed and compared. Results:The total effective rate was 91.22% in the observation group and 75.43% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of IL- 6 and IL- 17 in serum in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and IFN- γ levels were increased(P<0.05); the improvement of all the above indexes in the observation group was more significant than that in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: The therapy of modified Huanglian Jiedu tang combined with western medicine for gastric ulcer infected by helicobacter has significant clinical effect and can effectively relieve the inflammatory responses of patients, whose effect is better than that of simple western medicine.
