Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of point application of Antai Prescription I combined with estradiol and dydrogesterone tablets on early threatened abortion of kidney deficiency type. Methods： Seventy- four patients with early threatened abortion of kidney deficiency type were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method，37 cases in each group. The control group was treated with estradiol and dydrogesterone tablets，and the observation group was additionally given point application of Antai Prescription I based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical symptom scores were calculated， the levels of progesterone(P)， β human chorionic gonadotropin(β-HCG) and estradiol(E2) were measured and the adverse reactions were observed. Results： Before treatment， there was no significant difference in the comparison of each clinical symptom score(P＞0.05). After treatment， the scores of all clinical symptoms in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment，and all scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group，differences being significant (P＜0.05). Before treatment，there was no significant difference in the comparison of the level of P，β-HCG and E2(P＞0.05). After treatment， the levels of P， β- HCG and E2 in both groups were increased when compared with those before treatment，and the above levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group，differences being significant(P＜0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was 8.11% in the control group and 5.41% in the observation group， there being no significant difference(P＞0.05). Conclusion：The therapy of point application of Antai Prescription I combined with estradiol and dydrogesterone tablets has a significant therapeutic effect on early threatened abortion of kidney deficiency type，which can reduce clinical symptoms，promote the recovery of sex hormone levels，and is with great safety.
