Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of moxibustion on Fuzi cake at Guanyuan point (CV4) for postpartum body pain. Methods：A total of 66 cases of patients with postpartum body pain who were in accordance with the inclusion criteria were selected and divided into two groups according to the envelope method，33 cases in each group. The control group was given oral administration of granules of Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu tang，and the observation group was additionally treated with moxibustion on Fuzi cake at Guanyuan point based on the treatment of the control group. After treatment，the scores of Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) and Chinese medicine syndromes in the two groups were compared. The clinical effect of moxibustion on Fuzi cake at Guanyuan point for postpartum body pain was observed. Results：After treatment，the scores of VAS and Chinese medicine syndromes in the two groups were decreased to varying degrees(P＜0.01)；the comparisons of the scores of VAS and Chinese medicine syndromes between the two groups showed significance in differences(P＜0.05)； the scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group. The comparison of the clinical effect between the two groups showed significance in the difference(P＜0.05)，and the one in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion：Moxibustion on Fuzi cake at Guanyuan point for patients with postpartum body pain can enhance the improvement effect of Chinese medicine on clinical symptoms.
