Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Chinese medicine emotional nursing combined with escitalopram oxalate for depression. Methods:A total of 78 cases of patients with depression were divided into two groups according to the envelope method,39 cases in each group. The control group was treated with escitalopram oxalate tablets, and the observation group was additionally treated with Chinese medicine emotional nursing based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for six months. The changes in scores of Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) and Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) as well as levels of T lymphocyte subsets including CD3+,CD4+,CD8+ and CD4+/CD8+ before and after treatment in the two groups were compared. Results:After treatment, the scores of HAMA and HAMD in the two groups were significantly decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05); the scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of CD3+,CD4+ and CD4+ /CD8+ inthe two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the CD8+ levels were decreased (P<0.05);the improvement of the above indexes in the observation group was more significant than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Chinese medicine emotional nursing combined with basic treatment of western medicine can significantly improve the symptoms of anxiety and depression and immunity of patients with depression, which is helpful to the prognosis of the disease.
