Abstract： Objective： To observe the curative effect of Guizhi Fuling capsules combined with mifepristone for hysteromyoma and its effect on the levels of sex hormones. Methods：A total of 108 cases of patients with hysteromyoma were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group， 54 cases in each group. The control group was treated with mifepristone， and the observation group was additionally treated with Guizhi Fuling capsules based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for 12 weeks. The changes in the volumes of myoma and the levels of follicle- stimulating hormone(FSH)，luteinizing hormone(LH)，estradiol(E2) and progesterone(P) in serum before and after treatment as well as the clinical effect in the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results：The total effective rate was 96.30% in the observation group and 85.19% in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment， the volumes of myoma in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)； the volume in the observation group was smaller than that in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，the levels of FSH，LH， E2 and P in the two groups were significantly decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)；the above levels in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion：The therapy of Guizhi Fuling capsules combined with mifepristone has definite clinical effect in treating hysteromyoma，which can effectively reduce the volume of myoma and improve the levels of sex hormones.
