Abstract：Allergic disease is a major clinical and public health problem in the world，so its prevention and treatment is of great significance. The authors will discuss the etiology and pathogenesis of allergic disease from the three considerations of the time，place and human. It is believed that，based on the principles—“knowing the changes of time is to comply with the qi，”“knowing the special factors of different places is to differentiate yin and yang，” and “knowing the exuberance of human's constitution is to adapt to their limit，” the effect of preventing disease before it arises，controlling the development of existing disease and preventing relapse of disease after it is cured can be achieved.
