Abstract:Objective:To observe the effect of Xiaodian granules on changes in the level of soluble vascular cell adhesion molecule- 1(sVCAM- 1) and value of immunoglobulin A(IgA)/complement 3(C3) in serum in children with henoch- schonlein purpura(HSP); to discuss and improve the mechanism of Xiaodian granules in the treatment of HSP children. Methods: A total of 60 cases of HSP children who met diagnostic criteria were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random grouping method,30 cases in each group. The control group was given routine treatment of henochschonlein purpura on the basis of Pediatrics,and the observation group was additionally given Xiaodian granules based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical symptoms were observed. The level of sVCAM- 1 and value of IgA/C3 were detected,and the effect of Xiaodian granules on changes in the levels was observed. Results:After treatment,the total clinical effective rate was 90.00% in the observation group,and 76.67% in the control group,no significant difference was found between the two groups(P>0.05). Before and after treatment,the comparison of the level of sVCAM-1 between the two groups showed significance in differences(P<0.01);the comparison of the the level of IgA and value of IgA/C3 between the two groups showed significance in differences(P<0.05); no significant difference was found in the comparison of the level of C3 between the two groups(P>0.05). After treatment,the comparisons of levels of sVCAM- 1 and IgA as well as value of IgA/C3 between the two groups showed significance in differences(P<0.05). After treatment, no significant difference was found in the comparison of the level of C3 between the two groups(P>0.05). Conclusion:Xiaodian granules can improve clinical symptoms of children with henoch-schonlein purpura,and significantly improve the level of sVCAM- 1 and value of IgA/C3.
