Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Shenqi Siwu tang for chronic aplastic anemia. Methods：A total of 80 cases of patients with chronic aplastic anemia were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group，40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with cyclosporine A and stanozolol tablets，and the observation group was additionally treated with Shenqi Siwu tang based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for six months. The clinical effect and adverse reactions in the two groups were counted. Before and after treatment，the changes in levels of hemoglobin， leukocytes and platelets in the two groups were compared. Results： The total effective rate was 90.00% in the observation group and 72.50% in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment， the levels of hemoglobin，leukocytes and platelets in the two groups were significantly increased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the above levels in the observation group were all higher than those in the control group(P＜ 0.05). During treatment，there was no significant adverse reaction in all patients. Conclusion：Shenqi Siwu tang combined with cyclosporine A and stanozolol tablets has definite curative effect in treating chronic aplastic anemia with no significant adverse reaction.
