Abstract:Objective:To observe the curative effect of Juhuang eye- fumigating prescription in the adjuvant therapy of uveitis with syndrome of intensive fire in the liver and gallbladder. Methods:A total of 92 cases of patients with uveitis with syndrome of intensive fire in the liver and gallbladder were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, 46 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with proper amount of tobramycin dexamethasone eye drops and diclofenanc sodium eye drops, the oral administration of ibuprofen sustained- release capsules, health education, medication nursing,guidance on lifestyle and diet and other comprehensive nursing measures. The observation group was additionally treated with Juhuang eye-fumigating prescription. Both groups were treated for four weeks. Before treatment and after four-week treatment,the eyesight test and fundus examination were carried out;the scores of main Chinese medicine symptoms were evaluated. After four-week treatment,the curative effect of uveitis and eyesight,and nursing satisfaction in the two groups were evaluated. Results: After treatment, the curative effect of uveitis and eyesight in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05). The scores of eye floaters, vitreous inflammation, fundus inflammation, keratic precipitates and main Chinese medicine symptom scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.01), and the four scores of fundus signs above and main Chinese medicine symptom scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion:Based on routine western medicine and nursing,Juhuang eye-fumigating prescription in the adjuvant therapy of uveitis can significantly relieve clinical symptoms and signs in a short term,enhance eyesight,and improve comprehensive curative effect and nursing satisfaction.
