Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Yangxin Shugan tang combined with aripiprazole for patients with schizophrenia. Methods： A total of 84 cases of patients with schizophrenia were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method，42 cases in each group. The control group was treated with aripiprazole tablets and the observation group was additionally treated with Yangxin Shugan tang based on the treatment of the control group. The changes in the scores of Positive and Negative Symptom Scale(PANSS) and Clinical Global Impression- Severity Scale(CGI- SI) in the two groups were observed；the clinical effect and adverse reactions in the two groups were compared. Results： The total effective rate was 88.10% in the observation group and 69.05% in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment，the scores of PANSS and CGI-SI in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，the incidence of adverse reactions was 7.14% in the observation group，lower than that of 28.57% in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion：The therapy of Yangxin Shugan tang combined with aripiprazole has significant curative effect in treating patients with schizophrenia， which can effectively control the disease and reduce adverse reactions.
