Abstract：Objective：To analyze and summarize Prof. HAO Hongwen's prescriptions and administration rules in treating adenoidal hypertrophy in children based on Chinese Medicine Inheritance Assistant Platform software. Methods： Chinese Medicine Inheritance Assistant Platform software(V2.5) was used to construct the prescription database of Chinese medicine for adenoidal hypertrophy in children，and the software integrated data mining method was adopted to analyze the medication frequency，prescription rules and new prescriptions of 60 prescriptions for the treatment of adenoidal hypertrophy in children. Results：Among the 60 prescriptions，the frequency of use of each Chinese herb and association rules between them were determined，and 16 core combinations and 8 new prescriptions were evolved. Conclusion：The administration rules of Prof. HAO's in treating adenoidal hypertrophy in children is to promote nasal orifices，supplement the lung and fortify the spleen， dissolve phlegm and promote blood circulation.
