Abstract: Objective: To observe the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention of Chinese medicine on otolaryngology endoscopy. Methods:A total of 200 cases of patients undergoing otolaryngology endoscopy were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method,100 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, and the observation group was given comprehensive nursing intervention of Chinese medicine. After intervention, the nursing satisfaction in the two groups was evaluated. Before and after nursing, the degree of anxiety and depression,self-value,self-acceptance and body comfort in the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results: The nursing satisfaction rate was 98.00% in the observation group and 89.00% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Before nursing, there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the scores of Self- rating Anxiety Scale(SAS) , Self- rating Depression Scale(SDS) , Self- Esteem Scale(SES) and Bruggrmann Comfort Scale(BCS) between the two groups(P>0.05). After nursing, the scores of SAS and SDS in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before nursing(P<0.05),and the above two scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);the scores of SES and BCS in the two groups were increased when compared with those before nursing(P<0.05), and the above two scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: Comprehensive nursing intervention of Chinese medicine can improve nursing satisfaction of patients undergoing otolaryngology endoscopy, effectively relieve their anxiety and depression, improve their self-value identification and acceptance, and make the examination process more comfortable.
