Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of fixed-point bonesetting combined with acupuncture for abnormal cervical physiological curvature. Methods:A total of 88 cases of patients with abnormal cervical physiological curvature were selected as the study subject and divided into the observation group and the control group according to treatment schemes, 45 and 43 cases in each group respectively. After admission,both groups were given routine treatment;the control group was additionally treated with acupuncture,and the observation group was additionally treated with fixed- point bonesetting based on the treatment of the control group. Clinical effect and the recovery of physiological curvature were compared between the two groups. Scores of pain and clinical symptoms before and after treatment were counted in the two groups. Results:The total effective rate was 93.33% in the observation group,higher than that of 69.77% in the control group,the difference being significant(P<0.05). The recovery of cervical physiological curvature in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of pain score between the two groups(P>0.05). After treatment,pain scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment,and the score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of each symptom score between the two groups(P>0.05). After treatment,scores of veritigo,neck and shoulder pain,headache,daily living and working,as well as psychology and social adjustment in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment, and each score in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: The therapy of fixed- point bonesetting combined with acupuncture can effectively correct cervical physiological curvature and relieve pain and clinical symptoms with good clinical effect.
