Abstract： The provisions with the concept of clinical pharmaceutical monitoring in Shanghan Lun were extracted to systematically summarize and analyze the contents related to the dosage， course of medication， response for expelling pathogens during treatment， mistreatment and contraindication of Chinese medicine prescriptions. It is found that many treatises in Shanghan Lun are related to clinical monitoring of Chinese medicine prescriptions and play an important role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. It is suggested that Chinese pharmacists can accumulate more practical experience and skills in clinical monitoring and serve patients better by absorbing the essence of the thoughts in Shanghan Lun and organically combining the clinical pharmacy of Chinese medicine with six-meridian syndrome differentiation.
