Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of plaster with Dinggui powder combined with point massage for diarrhea after surgery of colorectal carcinoma. Methods： A total of 200 cases of patients with diarrhea after surgery of colorectal carcinoma were randomly divided into four groups，50 cases in each group. All groups were given routine nursing. The study group 1 was additionally treated with plaster with Dinggui powder；the study group 2 was additionally treated with point massage；the study group 3 was additionally treated with plaster with Dinggui powder and point massage. The times of defecation and the scores of stool character were observed and compared among the four groups. The clinical effect in each group was counted. Results：The total clinical effective rates were 70.00%，80.00%，84.00%，and 96.00% in the control group，the study group 1，the study group 2，and the study group 3，respectively；the total effective rate of the study group 1，the study group 2 and the study group 3 was higher than that of the control group；the total effective rate of the study group 3 was higher than those of the study group 1 and the study group 2，differences being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment，the defecation frequency and the score of stool in the study group 1，the study group 2 and the study group 3 were significantly less than those in the control group. The defecation frequency and stool score in the study group 3 were significantly less than those of the study group 1 and the study group 2，differences being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion： Based on routine nursing intervention，plaster with Dinggui powder combined with point massage for diarrhea has significant curative effect on patients with diarrhea after surgery of colorectal carcinoma.
