Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Fuyang Yishen prescription in Chinese medicine for ovarian cancer after chemotherapy. Methods: A total of 70 cases of ovarian cancer patients who received gynecological treatment were investigated. According to the order of admission, the patients were divided into the study group and the control group by applying the odd- even method,35 cases in each group. The control group was treated with TC chemotherapy(paclitaxel injection and carboplatin for injection),and the study group was additionally treated with Fuyang Yishen prescription on the basis of the control group. Three cycles were a course of treatment. After one course of treatment, the changes in Chinese medicine syndrome score for evaluating the curative effect, immune indexes [T lymphocyte subsets(CD3 +,CD4 +,CD8 +, CD4+/CD8+)],and tumor markers [carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),carbohydrate antigen 199(CA-199),carbohydrate antigen 125(CA-125)] were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate of Chinese medicine syndrome was 65.71% in the study group and 42.86% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the immune indexes CD3+,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+ in the study group were increased when compared with those before treatment and those in the control group(P<0.05),and CD8+ was decreased when compared with that before treatment and that in the control group(P<0.05);CD3+,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+ in the control group were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and CD8+ was increased when compared with that before treatment(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of CEA,CA-199,and CA-125 in both groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05). and the indexes in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion:Fuyang Yishen Prescription in the assisted therapy of ovarian cancer can significantly improve the immune function and tolerance to chemotherapy, and reduce the levels of tumor markers.
