Abstract：Objective：To observe the postoperative effect of fumigation and washing prescription by compound Huangbai liquid combined instrument of fumigation and washing after procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoid. Methods：A total of 142 cases of patients with hemorrhoids were divided into two groups according to the random number table method，71 cases in each group. Both groups were conducted procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoid. After surgery，the control group was given routine treatment and nursing； the observation group was given fumigation and washing prescription with compound Huangbai liquid combined with nursing through combined instrument of fumigation and washing. After surgery，the scores of Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) at different periods were compared between the two groups； the complications， the disappearance time of complications and the healing time of wound surface were compared between the two groups. Results：On the 3rd，5th and 7th days after surgery，the VAS score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). The incidence of complications such as anal downbearing distention， hematochezia，pruritus，edema，exudate and pain in the observation group was lower than that in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05)； the disappearance time of the six complications in the observation group and the healing time of wound surface were lower than those in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The application of fumigation and washing prescription with compound Huangbai liquid combined with instrument of fumigation and washing has more significant effect on patients undergoing postoperative procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoid， which can effectively alleviate their pain， shorten the disappearance time of symptoms， accelerate the healing of wound surface，and promote their recovery.
