Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Bailing capsules combined with respiration rehabilitation training for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) at stable stage. Methods:A total of 120 cases of COPD patients at stable stage were selected and divided into the control group and the study group according to the random number table method,60 cases in each group. The control group was given respiration rehabilitation training, and the study group was additionally given Bailing capsules based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for three months. After treatment, the changes in the lung function was evaluated in the two groups;the levels of matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9) and its related inflammatory factors in sputum, and T lymphocyte subsets in blood were evaluated in the two groups. Results:After treatment, the forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1),the ratio of FEV1 to forced vital capacity(FEV1/FVC),and the scores of BODE index and COPD Assessment Test(CAT) Scale in the two groups were better than those before treatment, differences being significant(P<0.05). After treatment,FEV1 and FEV1/FVC in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the scores of BODE index and CAT were lower than those in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of MMP-9,interleukin-6(IL-6),and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) in sputum in the two groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05);the three levels above in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of CD3+,CD4+,and CD4+/CD8+ in T lymphocyte subsets in the two groups were higher than those before treatment, and the CD8 + level was lower than that before treatment, differences being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of CD3+,CD4+,and CD4+/CD8+ in T lymphocyte subsets in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the CD8+ level was lower than that in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: Based on respiration rehabilitation training, the application of Bailing capsules in adjuvant treatment of COPD patients at stable stage has significant improvement on their lung function, and the levels of inflammatory factors and immune function.
