Abstract：By summarizing and analyzing the nomenclature，etiology and pathogenesis，characteristics and symptoms， treatment， nursing care and prevention of urticaria in Waitai Miyao Fang， the authors believe that its understanding of urticaria has a preliminary theoretical system and is a systematic summary on the theory and clinical practice of the disease in Chinese medicine before Tang Dynasty，which is helpful for the present diagnosis and treatment as well as research thinking of the disease.
