Abstract: Objective: To discuss the effect of integrated Chinese and western medicine nursing on recovery of gastrointestinal function, quality of life and inflammatory factors on patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Methods:A total of 100 cases of patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method,50 cases in each group. The control group was given routine high- quality nursing, and the observation group was additionally given Chinese medicine nursing based on the nursing of the control group. After operation, the recovery of gastrointestinal function, the scores of quality of life, the levels of inflammatory factors, unhealthy psychology and the incidence of complications in the two groups were compared. Results:The recovery time of bowel sound and the time of the first anal exhaust and defecation in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05). Before nursing, there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the scores of all dimensions in 36-Item Short Form Survey(SF-36) between the two groups(P>0.05). After nursing, the scores of all dimensions in SF-36 in the two groups were increased when compared with those before nursing (P<0.05),and the scores in the observation group were all higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). Before nursing, there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the scores of Self- rating Anxiety Scale(SAS) and Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD) between the two groups(P>0.05). After nursing, the scores of SAS and HAMD in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before nursing(P<0.05),and the scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). Before nursing, there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the levels of C-reactive protein(CRP) and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) between the two groups(P>0.05). After nursing, the levels of CRP and TNF-α in the two groups were lower than those before nursing, and the levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05). The incidence of complications was 6.0% in the observation group, lower than that of 28.0% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: Integrated Chinese and western medicine nursing can improve the recovery of gastrointestinal function on patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy, improve the quality of life after operation, reduce the levels of inflammatory factors and the incidence of unhealthy psychology, and control the incidence of complications.
