Abstract:Objective:To observe the curative effect of motherwort granules combined with mifepristone and misoprostol for hemorrhage after medical abortion. Methods:A total of 90 cases of patients undergoing medical abortion were randomly divided into two groups,45 cases in each group. The control group was treated with mifepristone and misoprostol, and the observation group was additionally treated with motherwort granules based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for one week. The time of gestational sac discharge, vaginal bleeding time, vaginal bleeding volume, hemoglobin levels and endometrial thickness in the two groups were observed and compared. Results:After treatment, the time of gestational sac discharge, vaginal bleeding and menstruation recovery in the observation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Cases with a small amount of vaginal bleeding accounted for 55.56% in the observation group and 28.89% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Before treatment, there were no significant difference being found in the comparison of hemoglobin levels and endometrial thickness between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment, the hemoglobin level in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and endometrial thickness was larger, differences being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: The application of motherwort granules combined with mifepristone and misoprostol has significant effect in medical abortion, which can significantly reduce blood loss, restore endometrial thickness and correct anemia in patients.
