Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of blood- invigorating and stasis- dissolving method combined with western medicine for headache after microvascular decompression. Methods: A total of 78 cases of headache patients undergoing microvascular decompression in neurosurgery were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into two groups,39 cases in each group. The control group was simply treated with routine western medicine, and the treatment group was additionally treated with blood- invigorating and stasis- dissolving method based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical effect and other related indexes in the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results: The total effective rate was 82.05% in the control group and 97.44% in the treatment group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). There was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the analgesia effect one day after operation between the two groups(P>0.05);five,ten and fifteen days after operation respectively, the scores of effect in the two groups were decreased, the difference being significant(P<0.05),and the scores in the treatment group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05). There were two cases of diarrhea and one case of dizziness in the treatment group, accounting for 7.69%;there were three cases of diarrhea and four cases of vomiting in the control group, accounting for 17.95%;there was no significant difference being found between the two groups(P>0.05). Conclusion: Blood- invigorating and stasisdissolving method combined with western medicine for headache after microvascular decompression has definite clinical effect, relieves clinical symptoms and improves quality of life.
