Abstract：Objective：To explore the application value of Chinese medicine nursing path in inpatients of gastroenterology department who had undergone painless gastroscopy. Methods： A total of 120 patients admitted to the gastroenterology department for painless gastroscopy were randomly divided into two groups，60 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine nursing，and the study group was additionally treated with Chinese medicine nursing path based on the treatment of the control group. After intervention， the two groups were compared with each other in terms of nursing satisfaction， examination response rate， hospital stay， and treatment- operation time. Results： The total nursing satisfaction was 90.00% in the study group and 75.00% in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). The examination response rate was 10.00% in the study group and 30.00% in the control group，the difference being significant (P＜0.05). The hospital stay and treatment- operation time in the study group were significantly shorter than those in the control group， differences being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The application of Chinese medicine nursing path in inpatients of gastroenterology department who had undergone painless gastroscopy，can significantly reduce the examination response，improve the nursing satisfaction，shorten the hospital stay.
