Abstract： Vitiligo is a common discosmetic dermatosis clinically characterized as acquired depigmenting disorder. By arranging and analyzing the literature of fire needling，filiform needle and plum-blossom needle for vitiligo in the last decade， the above acupuncture therapies for vitiligo have the advantages of simplicity， convenience， low cost and efficiency was concluded. Additionally，based on acupuncture therapy，the combined application of Chinese herbal medicine，phototherapy and operation can improve clinical effect. In clinic， personalized acupuncture therapy can be applied according to patients’ different disease conditions.
