Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of encircling therapy with Jinhuang powder for phlebitis induced by alprostadil injection. Methods：A total of 92 cases of patients with phlebitis induced by alprostadil injection were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method， 46 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine western medicine methods，such as wet dressing with 50% magnesium sulfate，and the observation group was additionally treated with encircling therapy with Jinhuang powder based on the treatment of the control group. The remission time of local pain，the disappearance time of cord-like veins and clinical effect were compared between the two groups. The adverse reactions in the two groups were recorded during treatment. Results：The remission time of local pain and the disappearance time of cord-like veins in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). The clinical effect in the observation group was better than that in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). There was no obvious adverse reaction during treatment in the two groups. Conclusion：Encircling therapy with Jinhuang powder in treating phlebitis induced by alprostadil injection，can improve the symptoms of patients，and enhance curative effect.
