Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Yishen Cupailuan tang combined with infertility due to ovulation dysfunction. Methods： A total of 134 cases of patients with infertility due to ovulation dysfunction were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method，67 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with clomifene citrate capsules and chorionic gonadotrophin，and the observation group was additionally treated with Yishen Cupailuan tang based on the treatment group. The clinical effect，follicular development，endometrial thickness， the scores of cervical mucus and the indexes of ovary blood flow were compared between the two groups. Results： The ovulation rate， the incidence of luteinizing unruptured follicle syndrome(LUFS) and the percentage of cervical mucus score which is higher than eight in the observation group were all higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment， the endometrial thickness on the day of ovulation in the two groups was increased(P＜0.05)， and the thickness in the observation group was larger than that in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，the resistance indexes(RI)，pulsatility indexes(PI) and systolic peak velocity/ diastolic end velocity(S/D) of ovarian artery in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the above values in the observation group were all lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). The total effective rate was 92.54% in the observation group，higher than that of 76.12% in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Yishen Cupailuan tang combined with western medicine in treating infertility due to ovulation dysfunction，which can effectively improve follicular quality and ovary artery blood flow，promote the growth of endometrium，enhance ovulation rate and pregnancy rate，and reduce the incidence of LUFS.
