Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of the closed-release therapy of acupotomy by locating three lines for cervical spondylosis with radiculopathy(CSR). Methods: The clinical data of 80 patients with CSR were retrospectively analyzed, among which 40 patients who received closed- release therapy of acupotomy by locating three lines were set as the experiment group, and 40 patients who received acupuncture for treatment were set as the control group. The score of Visual Analogue Scale(VAS),Neck Disabilitv Index(NDI) and clinical effect were compared between the two groups. Results: Compared with those before treatment, the scores of VAS, NDI and the total score in the two groups were respectively decreased after treatment(P<0.05). Compared with those in the control group after treatment, the scores of VAS,NDI and the total score in the experiment group were decreased after treatment(P<0.05). The total effective rate was 77.50% in the control group and 95.00% in the experiment group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: The closedrelease therapy of acupotomy by locating three lines for CSR is more accurate and standardized than acupuncture. Most patients can be treated by modified point selection with this method, and the clinical effect can be improved.
