Abstract： Objective： To observe the application effect of enema with Yinzhihuang oral liquid combined with point massage for pathological jaundice in newborns. Methods：A total of 94 cases of newborns with pathological jaundice were selected as the study subjects and divided into the control group and the study group according to different intervention programs，46 and 48 cases in each group respectively. The control group was given blue light irradiation and routine nursing intervention，and the study group was given enema with Yinzhihuang oral liquid combined with point massage based on the treatment of the control group. The indexes of bilirubin in serum before and after intervention， the disappearance time of jaundice，the clinical effect and the satisfaction of parents in the two groups were compared. Results：After intervention， the contents of total bilirubin(TBil)，direct bilirubin(DBil) and indirect bilirubin(IBil) in serum in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)；the above three contents in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). The disappearance time of jaundice was(5.63±1.48) days in the study group，shorter than that of (8.49±2.37)days in the control group(P＜0.05). The total effective rate was 93.75% in the study group，higher than that of 78.26% in the control group(P＜0.05). The total satisfaction rate of parents was 95.83% in the study group，higher than that of 82.61% in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion： Based on blue light irradiation and routine nursing， enema with Yinzhihuang oral liquid and point massage for pathological jaundice in newborns can effectively relieve the symptoms，reduce levels of bilirubin in serum and improve satisfaction of parents.
