Abstract：Objective：To observe the curative effect of Liangxue Jiedu Zhongzhen tang for psoriasis vulgaris with blood heat syndrome，and its effect on immune function，quality of life，and the levels of T lymphocyte subsets and inflammatory factors. Methods： A total of 80 cases of patients with psoriasis vulgaris with blood heat syndrome were selected and randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group，40 cases in each group.The control group was given oral administration of Xiaoyin granules combined with external application of calcipotriol ointment，and the treatment group was additionally treated with Liangxue Jiedu Zhongzhen tang based on the treatment in the control group. After treatment， the total clinical effective rate was compared between the two groups. The changes in the Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI)，Dermatology Life Quality Index(DLQI)，CD4+，CD8+，CD4+/CD8+，tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)，interleukin(IL)-6 and IL-23 before and after treatment were observed. Results：The total effective rate was 92.50% in the treatment group，higher than that of 75.00% in the control group，the difference being significant(χ 2=4.248，P＜0.05). After treatment，the scores of PASI and DLQI in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the above two scores in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，the levels of CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)；the levels of CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05)；the levels of CD8+ in the two grops were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the level in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，the levels of TNF-α，IL-6 and IL-23 in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)， and the levels in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion：Liangxue Jiedu Zhongzhen tang can improve immune function and alleviate inflammatory responses，thus it is effective to decrease the severity of skin lesions and improve the quality of life for patients with psoriasis vulgaris with blood heat syndrome.
